Trowbridge Falls - 125 Copenhagen Roadimage

As you wade in the distinctive shallow water at the Trowbridge Falls cascades, you will notice that you are standing on black rock called shale. Did you know this rock was developed in the Precambrian- the earliest geological era? This era lasted four billion years and also saw the creation of the Canadian Shield! Can you imagine what life would have been like back then?

Clue: From the parking lot, walk through the playground area toward the river. Follow the trail upstream until you get to the end of the fence.

Please note: You will have to go uphill to get to this post.
