Duck Kam River Park

Kam River Park - 300 Donald Street East

There are three main rivers that travel through Thunder Bay toward Lake Superior; the Kaministiquia is one of them. This is also the site of the famous James Whalen tugboat. One of the first jobs of the tugboat was to break the ice up in the fall and spring in order to allow ships to use this port as long as possible. The bow of the boat would slide onto the ice then the weight of it would break through!

Clue: Locate the Canadian flag flapping in the wind. From there take 20 paces away from the river to find the post.
