Snowshoes Chippewa Park

Chippewa Park (Breakwall) - 2465 City Road

Take a walk on the breakwall and experience the sound of waves lapping against the structure. Can you guess why they built this? The beach is sometimes home to large numbers of birds. Look for the herring gull that populates this area and comes to scavenge what people have left behind. Gulls are better off eating fish, so please clean up any leftovers from your picnic!

Clue: Drive past the main beach and park near the crest of the hill.  After you slide down the hill toward the lake, walk toward where the breakwall starts.
