Cascades Conservation Area - 1190 Balsam Street

If you follow the trail all the way to the river you will see large rocks along the river bank.  Between the rocks are pools of water where you may see frogs and water insects.  How do you think that water got there? Watch for insects called water striders that move on the top of the pools! They don’t have to wait until winter to go skating!

Clue: From the parking lot take the paved trail to the right or the left. Find a bench to sit on and the post will be within your view!
